Local NJ Company Called to Support Communication Recovery Efforts in New Orleans

VoiceGard, of Cherry Hill, NJ, a provider of voice recovery services for business telecommunications systems, was called upon to provide temporary emergency voice recovery services to Touro Hospital in New Orleans which was devastated by Katrina.
VoiceGard was contacted, by a contractor supplying wireless data networking to the hospital, to assist with the emergency voice requirements. The request was to supply an IP Telephony solution that would take advantage of the wireless network and satellite broadband being implemented until the hospital’s main infrastructure was reinstated.
VoiceGard responded and within two hours, setup, configured and shipped a robust telephony solution providing multiple inbound/outbound calling, DID numbers, voicemail, 8 party conference call features, extension to extension calling.
