VoiceGard President and CEO, Chuck Reagan, has been a telecommunications leader for over 15 years and has been the driving force behind voice recovery solutions.

If necessity is the mother of invention, then VoiceGard was born out of a need to ensure that a business can always be reached by their customers.

VoiceGard was started by a group of telecom industry professionals who recognized their own need to have a real-time voice recovery solution for their business.

Back in 2002 the VoiceGard principals experienced a significant service outage when access to their facility was not available due to a broken gas main which caused them to vacate their facility. Like most organizations today, they did not have a voice recovery plan in place for their telecommunications network, and as a result, their customers found it difficult if not impossible to reach them.
In designing the VoiceGard network, it was critical to provide:
  • A robust and fault tolerant solution which ensures uninterrupted service for our business customers
  • A detailed plan of action which everyone can access and can be easily deployed.
